Facilities Hire
Convenient and affordable meeting and event facilities, just minutes from Canberra's city centre.
St John's offers well-proportioned facilities for casual hire. Generous parking is provided and accessible bathroom facilities are located close to both spaces.
Due to high demand, we are not currently available for new recurring (weekly/monthly) events - only once-off hire. All proposed activities must be in keeping with the values and ethos of the parish.
St John's Hall
St John's Hall is generous in size (250m2), has a stage, sprung timber floor and heating. It is suitable for no more than 150 people. Tables and chairs are provided and a kitchen (for heating food) is directly adjacent ($135 per hour - non negotiable).
Please note that due to preparations for our annual parish fair, the hall is not available for hire in September or October.
Robertson Room
The Robertson Room is a smaller meeting room (50m2) and is adjacent to the same kitchen. The space is carpeted, has reverse cycle air conditioning and is equipped with an audio visual system.
This room also has direct access to a shaded deck onto a lawn which extends its use in warmer weather ($108 first hour, $72 each subsequent hour - non negotiable).
